Michael Leighton Jones Solicitors is the oldest form of solicitors in Bargoed South Wales.

Founded by Leighton G Jones in 1956, the firm continues to grow and prosper under the management of Leighton’s son Michael Leighton Jones and his Partner Hugh Lloyd Thomas

In 2006, the Tredomen Branch was opened, based in the Tredomen Innovation Centre, formerly the old Tredomen Engineering Site, near Ystrad Mynach, Hengoed.
